I LOVE music! that is an understatement. I believe that no matter what kind of day your having you can hear that one song that makes you smile and forget all your troubles.
I don’t have one favorite band it really depends on what I am feeling at that moment like if I’m feeling down I will probable listen to something like The Beatles or Feist or if I feel like moving I will listen/dance to The Clash or blink 182. If I feel really pissed off I’ll listen to something faster like Dropkick Murphys or The Ramones. So I like a lot of different artists but I have to say I have a sweet spot for people that write their own music.
Here is a list of some my favorite bands
The Dropkick Murphys, The Ramones, The Clash, The Beatles, Ragina Spektor, The Briggs, M.O.T.O (Masters Of The Ovious), Kimya Dawson, The Killers, The Decemberists, Flogging Molly, Elvis Costello, The White Stripes, Green Day, They Might Be Giants, and more that I don’t feel like listng at 3:49 in the morning.
I have been to a few concerts 4 dropkick murphys concerts, 2 Green Day, A Decemberists, I saw the Killers, Yo La Tango, and a They Might Be Giants concert.
My first concert I went to was a green day concert when I was 11 years old and I had a blast my dad got me right up to the stage and I almost touched Billy Joe. during the concert Billy Joe gave some kid his guitar and Tre’ Cool gave away his sticks and Mike gave his pick (I didn’t get it but I was thinking about stealing it from the people that did).
My next concert was a Dropkick Murphys concert it was awesome if I thought that Green day fans where crazy that was nothing compared to the Murphys the pit was crazy I tried to stay off to the side but my dad was right in the middle. The next Murphys concert is where we first heard The Briggs they where the opener and they are now one of my favorite bands.
A few years ago my family had a kind of semi reunion in Canada to see Green Day that was a cool concert it was my first outdoors concert. we have these pictures of the stage guard giving us the stink eye because we smuggled in a camera.
The Killers concert was at the palace theater damn those people are serious I swear to god I had my foot in the aisle and the bitch told me to move it. That pissed my off but the music was good and I had fun. I LOVE going to concerts nothing beats live music.
this is a picture I found on the Dropkick Murphys web site of the concert I was at and because I am that awesome (and have that much free time) I found myself in the photot!
And yes I know it is me it’s my horrible hair cut and my shirt.
