well I don’t know if you can call someone who never finishes quilts a quilter. I am more like a quilt starter. I have finished quilts before I finished one in October for a baby I know. But I am currently “working” on about five quilt right now. I have one quilt that I have been “working” on for about 4 years (the pattern said it was a weekend project I think not). This problem stems from the fact that I am crazy. When I was working on my first quilt I had a mental break down about the placement of the fabrics. I tried to make a random quilt and I now know I can’t do random (it kills my soul). So that quilt went unfinished for like 2 years then I decided it looked fine (and I wanted to finally finish something) so I went ahead and finished it and it looks fine. Since then I haven’t finished a quilt for myself (I care as much what the quilts I give away look like). but today I designed a my very own quilt block it is called “FUNKTASIC OVERLAY” I will post a pic when I make my sample block.
